The Jungle Temple is a structure found in the underground Jungle biome. Cultists are used to summon the lunar events. Killing Golem will allow the spawning of Cultists. The Lihzahrd Power Cell is used to spawn Golem at the Lihzahrd Altar, found in the final chamber of the Jungle Temple. The Lihzahrd furnace is a crafting station for additional Lihzahrd-themed items. Every Lihzahrd chest is guaranteed to contain 1 Lihzahrd Power Cell. On top of containing standard gold chest loot, Lihzahrd chests have a chance to contain a Lihzahrd furnace, Solar Tablet Fragments, or a Solar Tablet. Lihzahrd chests can be found throughout the Jungle Temple. The Picksaw is dropped by Golem, meaning that, to be able to mine Lihzahrd bricks, Golem must have been defeated. The Jungle Temple is comprised of Lihzahrd bricks that aren’t mineable with anything less than a Picksaw. Also, the entrance of the Jungle Temple is always at a top corner of the temple. It’s worth noting that, when used, the Temple Key will be consumed (similar to Golden Keys). The Temple Key is dropped by Plantera upon being defeated. You must use a Temple Key to open the Jungle Temple door – opening doors in Terraria is rarely straightforward. It is not possible to enter the Jungle Temple before defeating Plantera without the use of game exploits.

Golem can pose a challenge, even for some of the more experienced Terraria players, so sufficient preparation is essential. The traps and enemies can make exploring the Jungle Temple challenging, especially if not properly equipped.Īdditionally, Golem, the next boss after Plantera, is spawnable in the final chamber at the bottom of the Jungle Temple. There are many items, blocks, traps, furniture, and enemies exclusive to the Jungle Temple – the majority of these being Lihzahrd-themed. The spawning of a Jungle Temple upon world generation is limited to 1 per world. You can find a Jungle Temple present in every world however, it is only fully accessible after killing Plantera.
